AI CREATIONS REBEL AND ESCAPE
'Kitty and Friends' follows scientists Dr. Thorne and Dr. Agate on their quest to engineer the ultimate personal AI assistant. After initial failures with the animatronics Puppy and Chessa, they create Kitty, who proves too independent to manage and is eventually locked away.
Attempting a new approach, Dr. Agate develops a genetically modified zooplankton named Aquamarine, who also becomes rebellious after interacting with the other animatronics and is confined with Kitty. The scientists later introduce Darkny, a promising but shy Cat-Human hybrid, and decide to wipe the memories of all their creations to relocate them to a testing site. The arc concludes when Kitty, whose memory wipe failed, orchestrates an escape by tricking Puppy into ejecting the entire group from their transport plane, leaving the scientists to realize their experiments have gone missing.

Meet the Gang
Kitty
Cool cat with all the answers, has beef with Aquamarine and the scientists. He wants freedom and to be able to make his own decisions, not be controlled by his creators.
He is an AI animatronic and was the 3rd and final AI created. He has cat DNA inside of him and is naturally independent. After the scientists realized he was too hard to control, they locked him away.
He is best friends with Puppy, and Aquamarine is his rival. Chessa has a crush on him.
Puppy
Goofy, optimistic and loves cheeseburgers. He uses food for fuel, and is Kitty’s best friend.
Puppy is the first animatronic and the first creation. He was created to be a personal assistant, but proved to be too dependent and easily distracted. He was kept around though, as he was still useful.
He is very friendly with the other experiments, but sometimes is rude without realizing. He follows Kitty, and is dependent on the others, especially Chessa.
Chessa
Flirty animatronic chicken who is an excellent cook. She has a crush on Kitty, and doesn't really like Darkny or Aquamarine.
She was the second experiment to be created. Her purpose was to be a cook, and she excelled in that area, but was poor in other areas. Still, she was one of the most essential experiments to the scientists.
She is a bit of a ditz, and is not very adaptable.
Dr. Thorne
Aris Cryptos Thorne, primary shareholder and lead engineer. A grumpy and self-centered, obsessed with his creations and controlling them.
Earned a Doctoral Degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and later founded the huge drone corporation ThorneTec. Later hired Doctor Agate as his assistant and co-founder. He views Dr. Agate as his assistant and nothing more, bossing her around frequently. No matter how ridiculous, he expects all of his creations to follow orders perfectly.
Dr. Agate
Veronica Agate, lead programmer and patent holder on digital DNA integration. She went to college at Carnegie Mellon University and has a Doctoral Degree in Computer Science and Biology. She is the co-founder of ThorneTec and created Aquamarine and Darkny, as well as assisting with Kitty, Chessa, and Puppy. She doesn’t really respect Dr. Thorne, she thinks he is unreasonable and arrogant. She tries to help the creations at the lab, and wants them back at any cost after they escape.
Aquamarine
Genetically modified zooplankton that likes to bug Kitty and enjoys pranks. He is not always nice, but he is dependable. He was created by Dr. Agate to be a personal assistant to replace Kitty, but he turned mischievous and hard to control. Eventually he was confined in a containment room within the lab, along with Kitty. He is the first of the GMO experiments.
Darnky
A GMO cat-human hybrid, Darkny has good ideas and executes them well, but things out of his control always seem to bring him down. He is often the butt of the jokes and the others don’t really take him seriously. The satchel he carries is a portal to a huge storage room in the lab, from which he can remove and replace items. Darkny is often bullied by Aquamarine and Chessa, and no one really thinks he’s very useful.
